There are a few things that people have told us that are frustrating when it comes to bathroom renovations. The first thing is waiting forever for the quote to even come back to them. Benchmark will provide a written quote, on the spot, there and then! Another thing is feeling like their house has been transferred to a war zone. Benchmark’s policy is to keep your home as close to normal as possible, from start to finish of renovations, by using dust extractors, drop sheets, etc. 

Quick Quotes

What is it about tradies? They seem to be in a world of their own sometimes. They just don’t understand that you’ve decided to renovate and you want to get on with it – not wait for weeks just for them to come back with a quote. The Benchmark policy is to provide a written quote on the spot. The only exception to this rule is when the job is an unusually large and complex one. But even in cases like that, your quote will be back the next day.

Keeping things Normal

Another thing that tradies sometimes don’t quite understand is that you want to live as normally as possible in your home while it’s being renovated. We’ll use dust extractors and plenty of drop sheets to keep the disruption to your normal life to a bearable level. We don’t think that you should have to clean up after us either – so everything is left as good as new, not just when the job’s done, but each and every day till completion.

Cost

A beautiful new bathroom shouldn’t need you to take out a second mortgage. A Benchmark bathroom can cost you as little as just $7,500. And that includes the full package of new taps, tiles, toilet, vanity, etc.

Design

At Benchmark our approach is to give people as much or as little help with design as they want. If you don’t know where to start, that’s ok. We do plenty of stunning bathrooms. So we can give you some ideas that you might never have considered. Plus Benchmark will even draw up the plans as well. If you know exactly what you want, that’s fine too. We’ll just quote. And if you have a bit of an idea but don’t quite know how to finish it off – that’s our favourite situation. We’ll pinch a few concepts from previous jobs to help tie up the loose ends and deliver just what you were hoping for, but couldn’t quite imagine.

How Long Does it Take?

The quote is done on the spot, there and then. The time taken to complete the average Benchmark bathroom normally ranges from 9 to 14 days. Unless it’s a new room, council approval isn’t needed – so there’s no extra time to allow for.
